this video was made january while yours was made november 27. sorry not yours, but the one you linked
in this video paul altered some nullpo rules to make it instant soft drop, near instant lock, and he allowed ar... i believe(something that allowed him to spawn the pieces pre-rotated). i guess that guy saw that and tried to mimic it on tb. although on tb, because of the line clear delay, its fastest to clear tetris's because one line clear takes up the same am mount of time as a tetris (am i right? or line clear upgrades changed that...). there was a big debate behind this method on nullpo, but on tb, theres really no point for it.

Basically, my fellow Canadian here summed it up.
There's no point is really playing like this especially on TB where there's line clear delay. I know Paul676 did this and got a really good time with it, though.
